A commitment to Wa: 和 ⬝ 輪

A Distinctive Legacy of Wa and Collaboration

At Kyowa Kirin, we are rooted in the Japanese idea of Wa. Translated, Wa means harmony and teamwork. In application, it means working collaboratively and in partnership to deliver the best outcomes for patients, communities, employees, and each other.

Internally, we work across teams, functions, and business areas to accelerate delivery of new science and innovation to patients while also multiplying the impact of each team member’s contribution.

Externally, we build partnerships and relationships — big and small and of varied designs — with pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, and patient advocacy groups to help us learn, solve problems, and achieve more for patients, faster.
